MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
TO-DAY’S SITTING,
BY-LAW BREACHES
Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., presided over to-day’s sitting of the Magistrate’s Court and dealt with miscellaneous casGS. George Travors, Annie Ireton and William Garden were charged with riding their bicycles on the footpath, and were each fined 10s and costs 7s. Basil Heard, appearing voluntarily on a similar charge, was fined 10s and costs. Eileen Thomson, for riding a bicycle without sufficient light, was mulcted in the sttm of 10s and costs. Basil Heard, who appeared voluntarily on the same charge, was fined 10s and costs. FAILING TO REGISTER. Charles Samuel Buckman, Thomas Barton and Douglas James, of Shannon, were charged with failing to register under part VI of “The Defence Act, 1909.” Buckman was fined £l, with costs 9s, and Barton and James each £1 with costs 7s.
