OPERATIONS AT AN END. GENERAL PET AIN’S STATEMENT. PARIS, Nov. 7. General Petain has arrived at Marseilles from Morocco. He declared that Abdel Krim was completely surrounded and was no longer to be feared. He said that military operations were finished, and that he had handed matters over to the politicians. —A. and N.Z. cable.
