ANOTHER ELECTION AT EARLY DATE. Received November G, noon. OTTAWA, Nov. 5. Opinions regarding Premier .Mackenzie King’s decision to liang on to power vary according to the political views, the Liberals claiming mat no other course is open, while the Conservatives assert that Mr Aleighen should have been asked to lorm a Government as leader of the largest individual party, but all sides are agreed that another election is due within a few months, during which the country will remain in a disturbed condition. Parliament will most likely be called lor early in January. The country will undoubtedly witness the spectacle of 2J Progressives ruling the entire Dominion by virtue of the fact tiiat their support is necessary to ensure Air King a majority.—A. and N.Z. cable. ATTITUDE OF PREMIER. NO PRECEDENT IN CANADA. Received November G, 1.25 p.m. OTTAWA, Nov. 5. Describing Air Aiaekenzie King’s announcement that he will continue in office as “usurpation of power and contempt of the popular "'ill,” Air Aleighan, late 011 Thursday night, issued a statement in which he says that there never has been a case in Canada and none for a third of a century in Britain where the leader of a minority group has refused to resign “immediately the will of the people is known. —A. and N.Z. cable.
