ANOTHER STRIKE.
WIRELESS OPERATORS CEASE WORK. FINANCIAL OPERATIONS HAMPERED. Received November 4, 1.55 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 3. A strike of Marconi operators has pronouncedly affected international finance. Wireless has become the outstanding method of broadcasting the movements of international finance and share gambling, and the strike has caused a standstill in many departments. Tho strikers allege, that the. company i.s dismissing long-service men in order to replace them by cheaper juniors. Wireless aboard ships is not affected by the strike. —A. and N.Z. cable.
