Tn the match between R.S.A. and AwaIniri in the same series, a re-shoot having been rendered necessary by the lodging of a protest by the country club owing to the town club not having completed its shoot on the one evening, two of the members having been absent, resulted in wins for R.S.A. in both matches. At tho previous meeting R.S.A. A team bad compiled 1086 as against Awahuri’s 1082 and the B team 1059 as against 1055, hut at the second meeting whereas R.S.A. fared still better, the returns of tlioir opponents suffered. the grand aggregates being R-.S.A.
