MEAT FOR THE ARMY.
PRODUCED WITHIN THE EMPIRE. Received May 21, 8.50 a.m. LONDON, May 19. In the House of Commons, replying to Mr Drewe, Sir L. Worthington Evars said that only a small proportion of meat supplied to the Army in Britain was home grown. The whole of the remainder was produced within the Empire.—Reuter.
