MOUSE DISEASE.
NEIW SOUTH WALES OUTBREAK. SYDNEY, May- 20. Coincident with the mice plague in the w heat areas of the Riverma, a disease known locally as mouse disease, has become prevalent among children. The c ity health officer stated that it is scientifically known as favus and is due io a fungus which affects the hair follicles, causing sores on the body of cats And mice, which are both spreaders o:: the disease.—Press Association.
