Mr G. A. Monk, chairman of the Ilorowhonua Power Board, stated' at the annual meeting of tho board tins week that he developmen of he scheme had been quicker than tho board had expected, mainly owing to the assistance given by consumers, who had displayed an eagerness to mm up. lie thought that by the end of the year tho main work o£ the scheme would be completed.
