FOOTBALLERS’ TOUR
ALL BLACKS’ EXCLUSION. COMMENT IN AUSTRALIA. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received May 21, 9.25 a.m. SYDNEY, May 21. The Daily Telegraph, commenting on the fact that the All Blacks who toured England are excluded from the team which is visiting New South Wales, says: “The question arises whether the New Zealand Rugby League team will contain any of them. It is rumoured that had the arrangements for the coming tour been conducted by the New South Wales League instead of the New Zealand League an effort would havo been made to secure the services of several of the All Blacks.”
The Telegraph adds that a member of the management committee of the New South Wales Rugby team is now in New Zealand completing arrangements for the New Zealanders’ tour and that no doubt some effort will be made to include some of the All. Blacks in the Rugby League side.—Press Association.
