MANUKA HELD UP.
FIREMEN’S DEMANDS. HAM AND EGGS TWICE A WEEK. Per Prea6 Association. WELLINGTON, May 20. Owing to tho demands of firemen on the Manuka in the matter of food, the steamer could not sail to-day and is still held up. She is not expected to get away until to-morrow. It is stated that the men want ham and eggs twice a week, while the award says the ferod must be ample. The seamen said they would accept the same fare.
