JUMBLE SALE.
METHODIST FUNCTION
A jumble sale organised by the combined young women’s Bible classes was held in the Foresters’ Hall this afternoon, the object being tho raising of funds for mission work. A varied selection'of new and sec-ond-hand clothing, boots, pictures, ornament:, .etc., .as well as • a quantity of produce,’confectionery, etc. \vas ottered to tho large attendance present. Sister May and Miss lletheringtbn, assisted by. a band of willing helpers, were kept busily engaged during the afternoon disposing of the goods. A sugar-bag competition was being conducted during the afternoon.
