The promoter of a company licensed to make cricket bats bearing Phillip Mead'» name, informed a meetinjj of creditors and shareholders, whereat a total deficiency was shown of £132,520. that the reason., for the -failure was inability to secure sufficient matured wood from which to make bat*.
