WATERFRONT TROUBLE.
DEREGISTRATION REFUSED. MELBOURNE, Feb. 6. In the Federal Arbitration, Court Mr Justice Powers delivered his reserved judgment on the application for deregistration of the Seamen's Union. He refused to deregister the union, stating that as the men were returning to work he could see no reason for such drastic action.—Press Association. CHARGE AGAINST WALSH. MELBOURNE, Feb. 6. The hearing has cornmenc<?d in the Police Court of the charge* against Tom Walsh of inciting the Seamen's Union to strike.—Press Association. , MAHENO DELAYED. "SYDNEY, Feb. 6. When the Maheno was due to sail to-day for Auckland, several members of the crew were missing and the vessel was held up. After she left the wharf the missing men were finally located and rejoined the ship, which sailed after five hours' delay.—Press Association.
