LABOUR DISPUTES.
Received Julv 24, 10.5 a.m. SYDNEY, July 24. A settlement of the strike at the works of the metal manufacturers at Port Kembla has been effected and work was resumed to-day.—Press Association. MELBOURNE, July 24. The strike at the electricity commissioner’s works at Monvell is unsettled. The commissioners have presented other terms to the men, and if these are not adopted there will be a general cessation of work.-—Press Association.
