ACCIDENT TO DEMPSEY.
NARROW ESCAPE FROM DEATH
LONDON, July 21
At Los Angeles, Dempsey’s right arm, which contributed so heavily to his winning of the heavyweight boxing crown, is out of commission ns the result of an automobile accident while eu route to the cinema lot. The champion is said to have escaped death miraculously, as his automobile was thrown into a ditch, when another car struck it.—A. and N.Z. cable.
