AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE.

DEPUTATION TO MINISTERS.

An influential deputation, representing the University College and various locai bodies, interviewed *u Aiassey and the Hon. C. J. Parr and urged tne needs of Auckland in respect ot an agricultural college and an improvement in the status of me school of engineering. Mr Parr said that his own opinion was that for many years Auckland s specialty was in the direction of agriculture. He would strongly lavour special facilities being given the Auckland University to specialise m agricultural science. ihe engineering school in Auckland was doing good work and he would not be averse to moderate expenditure upon it.
