WEDDINGS.

LYNCH—KING. On 4th June, 1924, at St. Patrick's Church, Palmerston North, the marriage was celebrated of John Francis, only surviving son of Mr and Mrs D. Lynch, of Whakaronga, and Mary Elizabeth, only daughter of Mr and Mrs S. King, of Kauwhata. The nuptial mass was celebrated by Rev. Father McManus, assisted by Rev. Fathers Doolaghty and O'Byrne. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr B. King, by Miss Dorothy Hatton as bridesmaid, whilst the duties of best man were performed by Mr J. Beban. A reception was subsequently held at Collinson and Cunninghame's tea rooms, and the usual toasts were honoured. Mr and Mrs Lynch left later for Napier on their honeymoon.
