GOLF.
MAY BOGEY. This competition, postponed on account of wet weather, will be played next Saturday, 14th June. The competition is to start as soon as all the players in the Masterton match have got away. In this competition tho 7th tee, one of the usual starting places, will not be in use. Players must start as follows: Handicap 1 to 12, at Ist tee; handicaps over 12, at 10th tee (Cliff View). BURIED BALL. It has been decided that, until further notice, a ball that lies •'buried" in the fairway on the green, may be lilted and dropped over shoulder. FOUR BALL MATCHES. These must start at the 13th tee (Eden). In every other respect the conditions as put up on notice board (by Ist tee) as to time, etc., must be observed.
