WEDDING BELLS.
' The marriage was solemnised at the Presbyterian Church, Palmerston North, on December 24th, of Miss Winifred Josephine Whitehead, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs C. H. W hitehead, of Palmerston North, to Mr Lewis Joseph Faulkner, youngest son of Mr and Mrs Faulkner, .of Bunnythorpe. The Re/. McDonald officiated. The bride, _who was given away by her father, wore a gown of ivory crepe-de-chene and radium lace, and the usual veil and orange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet of lilies and carnations, The bridesmaids were Miss ■Gwen Whitehead and Miss Edna Eyre, who wore frocks of apricot and rose satin moi’ocaih respectively, and black picture hats. They carried shower bouquets of roses and carnations. The duties of best man were carired out by Mr Milton IVood, and of groomsman by Mr Dudley Whitehead, brother of the bride. Mr and Mrs Whitehead subseouently entertained the guests at a reception, when the usual toasts were honoured. Afterwards, the happy couple left for the north, the bride wearing a fawn costume and hat to jnatch*
