BRIDE FOR PRINCE.
DANE TO MARRY CANADIAN; Received December 23, 8.50 a.in. . OTTAWA, Deo. 27. Prince Erik denies a Copenhagen despatch saying that the Danish King has deprived him of his princely rank because he is marrying a Canadian. Prince Erik says he is only renouncing the right of succession to the throne. He reillailis His Royal Highness and assumes the title of Count Rotheliblirg.—A. and N.Z. cable.
A cablegram received from Ottawa stated that a marriage had been arranged between Miss Lois Booth, grand-daughter of Mr J. R. Booth, the Canadian millionaire lumberman, and Prince Erik, of the Danish royal family.
