REPUDIATION UNTHINKABLE.
Received December S 3, i 1.40 a.m. OTTAWA, Deo, 27. Mr ‘Massey, when interviewed on arrival at Montreal, expressed the hope that the recommendations of the Imperial Conference would not be Jeopardised by the British political changes. “It seems,’’ he said, “unthinlcable that there should bo any going back on the promises made by the British Government to the Dominions sitting as an Empire in council.” New Zealand, he said, was anxious to foster inter-Dominion trade.—A. and N.Z. cable.
