Much interest (says the N.Z. Times) centred in the wedding of Miss Mary Stuart Seddon, daughter of the late Right Hon. R. J. Seddon, Premier of Now Zealand, and Mrs Seddon, of Golder's Hill, Wellington, to Dr. Frank Hay, Inspector-General of Mental Hospitals for New Zealand, which took place yesterday afternoon in St. Paul's pro-Cathedral, Wellington. Long before the time for the ceremony the church was crowded with interested onlookers, a number of those who had been associated with the bride in her publio life having come to see her married, while outside me church many more waited to catch a glimpse of her as she arrived and departed. The church had been decorated for the occasion by friends of the bride, and the ceremony was performed by Canon W. S. Bean, of Chnstchurch (brother-in-law of the bride), assisted by the Ven. Archdeacon Johnson, vicar of St. Paul's. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr 1. E. Y. Seddon. She wore a graceful gown of grey duchesso satin, out on long lines, the drapery caught by a large cameo buckle. The bodice had a loose square back and panels of heavy rich lace to tone fell at either side. With this was worn a black picture hat swathed with shaded grey ostrich plumes, and she carried a bouquet of pink roses.

Mrs F. H. Wood, sister of the bride, attended her as matron-of-honour, wearing soft grey marocain, cut on long straight lines and finished with tiny tucks, ajid sleeves of georgette. Her hat was of grey ribbon and dark blue, and she carried a posy of pink roses and violets, with autumn leaves.

After the ceremony Mrs R, J. Seddon held a reception at her home, "Eceleston," Golder's Hill, when relatives and a number of old friends were present. The house was beautifully decorated for the occasion. In the diningroom, where the wedding tea was set, the table was centred with a tall handsome silver centre-piece which was a presentation to tho late Right Hon. 11. J. Seddon. The health of the newly-married couple was proposed by Sir Joseph Ward in a felicitous speech, to which the bridegroom replied, and then, in response to insistent requests, tiho brido added her thanks to those of her husband.

Sir Joseph Ward also proposed the health of the bride's mother, which was responded to by Mr Tom Seddon. Later the bride and bridegroom left, under a shower of coufetti from the guests, for their honeymoon. Mrs Seddon received, wearing a gown of black charmeuse and lace, lone seal coat, and hat with plumes, she carried a bouquet of mauve anemones and violets.

Her Excellency Viscountess Jellicoe was present at the ceremony and subsequent reception. She wore a gown of black satin relieved with white, large black hat and moleskin coat.
