■ - (Per Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, March 1. At the band contest the E Flat horn solo resulted:—C. Hansen (Nelson Garrison) 96 points, 1; J. A. Beattie (Palmerston North) 95g, 2: G. Wilson (Woolston) 95, 3. There were seven competitors.
