Won by. a length, a similar distance between second and third. Time, 1.14. Tirntu Hack, 6 furlongs,—Arataura 8.12 1, Megan 7.15 2, Princess Fran 6.13 3. . All started. Won by a neck. Time, 1.15. NELSON CLUB’S MEETING. RICHMOND, March 1. The Jockey Club’s meeting commenced at Richmond -Park to-day in glorious weather and with a largo attendance. The going is good. _ Results: Maiden Handicap.—Blue Socks 1, Axle 2, Jolly Bruce 3. Scratched: Jonquil, The Bolter, Cairn. Won by four lengths. Time, 1.16 3-ssec. Richmond Trot.—Janies Maddison (D. Blackie) 1, Victor Hova (G. Maxsted) 2, Grey Lady (0. Smith) 3. Scratched: Rothmoor, Qumcelyn, Ruby Lincoln. Won by twelve lengths. Time, 5.8. Cup.—Cheer Up 1, Printeraps 2,iMartial Dawn 3. Scratched; Grim Joke. (Won by one, and a half lengths. Time, 2.10 1-5. Hope Hack.—Bayana, 8.8, 1; Blackhead, 8.11, 2;- Grand Duchy, 8.0, 3. Scratched: Pink Rose, Parorang'i, Blue Socks. Won by a length. Time, 1.28 4-5.
