MINISTERIAL VISIT.
ENTERTAINMENT ARRANGEMENTS.
Mr -I. A. Nash, M.P.. invited the chairmen ol school committees and teachers ol all local schools to meet hint this morning in connection with the visit ot the Minister of Education, the Hon 1 . C. J. Parr, to Palmerston North on Wednesday next. The Minister will ho accompanied Ity Mrs Parr. It. was decided by the meeting that the school committees and teachers should entertain the Minister and his wild til an "at home” on the evening of their arrival at half-past eight. A short musical programme is being arranged and speeches will he made hy the chairman of the function (Mr W. E. Dttrward) and Messrs J. A. Nash, M.P., G. IT. Stiles and E. I-. de Berry. The chairmen of the committees and the teachers in the Kairanga district are to he invited to attend the function.
