A committee of represchtativcs ol o£g\ circles and branches of the association war set up. and the matter —which was slated to tie. very serious, in waiving the ijiiestion of one bi-r association, instead of individual bodies—was discussed in camera. “A HARPY SOLUTION.’’ On resuming in .open conference, the president announced that a happy solution had been reached. A suggestion that the egg circles should remrdo and lie alliliatcd with the New Zealand Poultry Association had been defeated by 24' voles to three. The committee had decided that there should lx? one big body. The executive, it bad been resolved, shout'd be elected as formerly. A suggestion phat a number of members be elec-fed from the business side of the industry and a certtdn number from the practical side' had been thrown out, This incorporation of the two organisations would, he hoped, meet with the approval of the conference. The committee’s decision w.as supported, and the conference proceeded to revise its rules. The headquarters of the association wore lixod as Wellington. An adjournment was made at 1 p_.ru.
