At the, Addington market to-day there was a small yarding of _ fat stock, except sheep, the yarding of which was of average size on account of a shipload of Chatham Islands sheep .arriving. The demand for fatcattle was keen, and improved values were realised, but sheep and lambs were slightly easier. • 1 ; Store, sheep—There was a big decrease in the yarding, and some sorts were.hard to .quit. Two-tooth wethers, 19s 7d to 23s 6d; inferior and Jew-conditioned lambs and owes, 16s Id to 16s 9d (all counted); twotooth owes, 23s 9d to 255, two and fourtooth wethers, 24s 9d to 295; four, six, and eight-tooth wethers, 27s 3d to 30s 2d; good four-tooth owes, 29s 6d. Fat lambs—633 were yarded compared with 3400 last week. The quality, was very good, but in view of the big buying of tho previous week by butchers and the unocrtainty of the position,' there was a slight easing in the- demand. Extra prime lambs, to 50s lOd; priipe, 27s 6d to 30s Id; medium, 23b lOd to 27b 3d; -lighter, 18s 6d to cattle.—A small yarding of 129, the bulk being of good quality. Values wore up from 20s to 40s compared with the prqcoding week.
