(Siecul to "Standard.”) WELLINGTON, Nov. 7. The roll ol the Second Division of the Expeditionary Force Reserve is being ssued in lour parts, of which two parts ire now ready. Iho names ol the ro.ervists are arranged alphabetically, iiul beside each name is a letter signi.ying the Class to which the man concerned has liecn posted. C opies of the oil arc being sent to all ])ost oliices, police stations, Defence oliices and pub--10 libraries, and also to recruiting comUiittees and the officers of the Second livision League, so that every reservst should find it easy to examine the 011 and ascertain that his name is there md that he has been properly assigned o ids Class, if any mistake has been mule the reservist should notify the Government Statistician without delay n order that it may be corrected beore the balolt lor the Class is taken. The roll of the Second Division lias icon compiled from the personal sclielules furnished under the National Ue'istration Act, 1915, and the Military Service Act, 1910, and on account of ho time which has since elapsed it no louht includes now names which hould be omitted and particulars that iavo ceased to ho accurate. The hildreu whom a reservist is entitled to •omit for the purpose of his claSsificaion are the following; (1) His own ogitimato children of any age; (2) Ids legitimate children if he has married heir mother before the Ist day of day, 1915; (3) children legally adopted iv him before the Ist day of May, 1915; i) his step-children if he married their nother before the Ist day of May, 915; (5) a son who lias died during the )resent war while a member of any of His Majesty’s Forces. • A reservist is Kit entitled to count any child who has icon legally adopted by any other oersou.

It should be understood that the wsition of a Second Division reservist n any Class is not fixed at a particular late, but alters with every change in the number of his children up to the late when lie is called for service. A reservist i.s required by the Military Service Act to inform the Government Statistician of any change in the ’lumber of his children, either a dcToaso or an increase.
