MILITARY RESERVIST ARRESTED.
HIDING IN THE BUSH. {l'cu Phkbb Association.) PAHIATUA, Nov. 5. John Franz, Eigene Baticke, of Pahiatua, who was drawn in a bailor some months ago and disappeared the day before ho was warned to parade, was arrested at midnight last night at the loot of flit} Tararua range, on (he, Palmerston side, He is believed to have, been hiding in the hush.
Tho police on both sides of the. range have been keeping a good look-out. The arrest was made by the Palmerston police.
