AUSTRALIA’S PROPOSAL. Australian-New Zealand Cable .Association. Received November hj, 8.40 a.in. SYDNEY, Nov. 0. Mr Hughes, at- tin- Chamber of Commerce luncheon, outlined the proposed organisation of industry during and after the war under the General Council of the. Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It will bo composed of representatives from associations formed by individual industries. The scheme, includes a department of commerce and industry under a Minister and tlio appointment, of a first-class business man as permanent bead of the new Department, and trade representatives in the principal oversea, markets.
