DESERTER FOUND GUILTY.
(Pin Peers Association.) AUCKLAND, Nov. 1. The verdict was announced to-day l>y the Court-martial which tried Gilbert Walker on two charges of disobedience of lawful commands by failing to report for medical examination and on a third charge of desertion. Accused \vu> acquitted on the charges of disobedience, but was found guilty ol desertion. Walker was drawn in the ballot on January 12th, and was arrested on October Bth on a lonely farm in the Waikalo.
