BRAZIL A BELLIGERENT.
DECLARES WAR ON GERMANY. Received October 27, 10.15 a.rn. RIO DE JANEIRO, Oct. 20. The President of Brazil has sent a message to Congress that the sinking ot Makau compels Brazil to become a belligerent. Ho requests Congress to authorise the seizure of the German warship anchored in Bahia and the internment of the crew, together with the crows of German merchantmen. Received October 27, 12.35 a.m. LONDON, Oct. 26. Brazil has declared war on Germany.
