(Fuoit Gun Own CouHi'st'ONDi’NT.) A very pleasant afternoon was spent at Mr T. F, Gibson’s, Shannon, on Saturday, the occasion being the opening of hit? new premises. Visitors arrived from Kongotea and Lower Huti. Afternoon tea was (sowed by Mrs T. F. Gibson, assisted by Mm Krcelh. Naturally Mr and Mrs Gibson were greatly pleased with the number who accepted the invitation. Mr 0. Bowman, of Kaponga (late of Shannon), is sending a- lew days hero prior to going into camp. The membership of the Tenuis Club has considerably increased since the opening day.
