ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
(Pn Pm AsannrafTQi i OAMARU, July 24. John Dreaver, a married man with six children, was the victim of an accident at the Kurow station yard last night Whilst shunting. His leg was amputated in consequence and he died early this morning. AUCKLAND, July 24. A Russian Finn named John West, aged 60, fell from the schooner Greyhound off Kawau Island and was drowned. The mate of the vessel, Davies, jumped overboard, but before he could get to West the latter sank.
