The Jockey Club announce that the saliva of Redfinch did not show signs of doping. The stewards made the test because of the horse's unusual excitement before and after the race on the 15th July. The stewards announce that they will occasionally examine saliva in order to satisfy themselves that Rule 176 is observed, but will not publish results unless they discover that drugs have been administered.
