THE SYDNEY OUTBREAK. (Bt Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Per Press Association.) - SYDNEY, Sep. 4. Eight smallpox cases were found to-day. a!jo two suspects, country cases. One metropolitan case was that of a woman who has & baby too young to travel. Both, therefore, are isolated at home temporarily.
WAIKATO CLEAN. Ths Hon. R. Heaton Rhodes stated in reply to a question in the House yesterday that the Waikato was clean of smallpox, excepting for four convalescents.
