ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

Ernest George Cullen (27), a share farmer at Wagga (N.S.W.), hanged himself from a tree at Downside on Sunday morning. He had been despondent through his inability to secure land before marrying, but gave no indication that he contemplated suicide. His bank account showed a credit of over £60. Albert John Braine, 39. who lived in George street, Erskineville, was tho victim. He was attending to one of the overhead traversers, when ho was caught, .and the heavy iron weights jammed his body, crushing him frightfully. Suffering excruciating agony, he was hurried away to the hospital' in the railway ambulance, but death soon ended his sufl'erings.
