AFTER THE STRIKE.
A FLEET OF VESSELS AT NEWCASTLE. (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Per rREss association.} SYDNEY, March 15. All the Northern collieries, with the exception of the Heton mine, are at work.
That colliery will resume to-morrow. A fleet of vessels awaiting coal is now being moved under the cranes MELBOURNE, March 15. The Victorian Railway Commissioners, by using Powlctt river coal, will save £30,000 per annum, while £35.000 in coal freights will be earned this year. It is estimated that they will earn £75,000 by this means next year. The Powlett river works were opened during the- strike in New South Wales.
