THE PHILADELPHIA STRIKERS

The Philadelphia strikers have issued a proclamation calling on all workingmen in the country to withdraw their deposits from the Banks. The strikers have two million sterling banked in Philadelphia alone. Received March 16. 8.50 a.m. NEW YORK, March 15. The American railway firemen's demand for the control of promotion was rejected.
