BOWLING.
A team representing the Terrace End Bowling Club, and comprising A. Harris, A. Martin, R. H. Sollitt and W. Reid (skip) visited Feilding on Saturday and played the holders of the Dixon Cup, J. Bartholomew, Manning, H. C. Stewart and G. H. Saywell (skip). At the fourteenth h«jad the score was Feilding 15, Terrace End 10, but after that the home team had matters all their own way and won easily by 30 to 10, the visitors failing to soore any more. At a meeting of the Dunedin centre of the New Zealand Bowling Association reference was made to the barracking that had taken place on the Dunedin green during the final for the singles, and the hope was expressed that the centre would take a stand and 1 not permit the same exhibition as was to be seen at football matches., A resolution was adopted by the centre, publicly expressing disapproval, of the recent' barracking.
The seventh round for the Spackman Feathers \va6 played on the Terrace End green, during the week, Spackman and Sinclair, the holders, successfully defending the trophy against Martin and Osgood.
