GUARANTEED IN CASE OF WAR.

Replying to Senator Van Hucker, the Dutch "Minister for Foreign Affairs refused to ask for a further declaration and guarantees that Britain and Germany in the case of war would respect the integrity and neutrality of the Netherlands. He added that the country's integrity was sufficiently guaranteed. The declaration was received with attention, owing to Germany's supposed designs on Holland.
