Peasant Rising Feared.
. (Received August 23, 8.20 a.m.) ST. PETERSBURG, August 22. The harvest has failed in twenty-five provinces of Russia. There, is great distress, and a peasant rising is feared. Hunger and disease are rampant in many towns owing to strikes.
