THE THIBET EXPEDITION.

BOMBAY, Oct. 20.

Two companies of mounted infantry, the Bth Ghoorkhas, the 40th Pathans, several guns, and many details, a portion of the Thibet column, are snowbound at Phari. Seventy-two, who were exhausted, fell into a lethargy, and implored that they might be left to die. They were carried to Phari, where stores are accumulated. . ' . : . , :

A new disease has broken out in the Stellenbosch vineyards. It is'likely, to reduce the vintage to a quarter of what was anticipated, and seriously threatens the vineyards of the whole colony.
