Griffiths' pawnbroker's shop in Courtenay Place was broken into before daylight yesterday and the window stripped of the contents, estimated by the proprietor to be worth £500. A retriever dog, whrch was kept on the premises, was found in a semi-stupified condition it is supposed from chloroform. The private house of Mrs Turner, Upper Willis-street, was robbed to the extent of £20 worth of goods.
