PROTEST FROM BANK CLERKS.
(Per Press Association.) Cheistchubch, July 19. A largo meeting of bank clerks was hold last night to protest against the clauses in the Shops and Olh'ces Bill iiil'ecting the banl: officers. It was decided to make a suggestion to-the Wellington Central Committee to the eft'ect thatifitvrerepaßsedthafanefiortbe'mada to get a clause inserted providing for the payment of overtime to all officers without exception. ■
