Napieb, July 19. At theinquest on John Prior, the jury found deceased was accidentally drowned while endeavouring to cross .the Wai tangi River.
Wellington, July 19. An old resident named-John Elley, aged 60, suicided by taking prussic acid. For a number1 of years he carried on a butchery business.
