FARMERS' ASSOCIATION.
A MEETING OF MEMBEES OF
PAELIAMENT.
Per Press Association.
Wellington.. July 18. A. meeting of country members of the House was held to-day, at the instance of Mr Moore, secretary of the Producers' Union. '
The following members were present: —Messrs Meredith (in the chair;, Hall, Stevens, Carncross, Houston, E. G. Allen Symes, O'Moara, G. "W. Eussell, J. Allen, Ehodes, McGuire, Herries, Hardy, Massey, Monk, Lang, Bollard, Pirani, W. Thompson, and Lethbridge. The following resolution was carried unanimously, on the motion of Mr Massey, seconded by Mr Pirani: " That this meeting of members of the House of Representatives, while thanking Mr Moore for his address and for the workbe has done; in the interests of farmers, recommends the Producers' Union to join with the- Farmers' Union so that the two Unions may become one Association to work together in the interests of the country settlers and of the colony as a whole. » '
