FAREWELL PARTY.
On Tuesday evening about forty young people met at the residence of Mr and Mrs A. F. Stevenson, Park Street, in order to bid farewell to Mr and Mrs Stevenson and the Misses Stevenson.
During the evening dancing'and games were indulged in and a most enjoyable time was spent by all present. After a delicious supper had been dispensed Miss M. Ban-on, on behalf of the other young people present, thanked Mrs Stevenson for the use of the room and for enabling the party to spend such a pleasant evening. She then presented Mrs Stevenson with a charming bouquet. Dancing was continued -until a late hour, the playing of the National Anthem bringing to a close a very cheery party.
