PRESBYTERIAN SUNDAY SCHOOL.
PRESENTATION TO AIISS AT. STEVENSON.
A very pleasant ceremony took place on Sunday morning at the conclusion of the Sunday school at the local Presbyterian Church, when Tommy Thomson, on behalf of the teachers and his fellow pupils called on Miss M. Stevenson to accept a small token of affection and esteem.
Miss Stevenson, who is leaving Foxton at an early date, has been a teacher at the Presbyterian Sunday School for a considerable time and she will be greatly missed by teachers and pupils alike. Miss Stevenson in a feeling speech, thanked the teachers and pupils for their good wishes, and said she had always enjoyed her work as a teacher and she would not forget the children with whom she had spent such a happy time.
