PERSONAL.
Mr. F. Gay, who has been an inmate of the Palmerston North Hospital for some time, l-eturned to Foxton this morning. Mr E. S. Morse, of Levin, leaves for the South early next month to take over the management of a theatre at Lyttelton. We are pleased to report a decided improvement in the condition of Mrs J. G. Honore, who is an inmate of a Palmerston N. Hospital. Miss P. Wilkinson, of the nursing staff of the New Plymouth Hospital is spending a holiday with Mr and Mrs D. R. Ogilvy, of Purcell Street.
Reports from the Palmerston North Hospital indicate that Messrs E. W. Bills and H. Walls and Mrs Skogstad, local inmates in the institution, are all progressing favourably. Candidates for the Makerua Drainage Boai-d election are J. D. Aitchison, W. E. Coley, Wt Jackson, G. Larsen, T. D. Lynch, E. E. Mabin, W. J. Ross, H. Seifert and A. R. Whitehead.
